We strive to ensure that all products listed and sold on our platform comply with applicable trademark, copyright, patent, and other IP laws worldwide. We do not knowingly permit the listing or sale of infringing or counterfeit products.
This policy outlines our approach to IP compliance, our expectations from sellers and users, and the process for reporting alleged infringements. It applies to all users, sellers, and content on ShopGlobal.
Our Commitment
- We actively work to prevent IP violations through seller vetting, listing reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
- We comply with legal requirements, including notice-and-takedown processes under applicable laws.
- Unauthorized use of ShopGlobal’s own trademarks, logos, or content is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Activities
Sellers and users must not:
- List or sell counterfeit, replica, or infringing products.
- Use trademarks, logos, images, descriptions, or other IP belonging to brands without explicit authorization.
- Make false claims of authenticity, official authorization, or affiliation.
- Upload content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
- Engage in practices that dilute brand value or mislead consumers.
Violations may result in immediate removal of listings, suspension or termination of accounts, withholding of funds, and legal action.
Seller Responsibilities
- Ensure all products are genuine and sourced from authorized channels.
- Provide proof of authenticity (invoices, authorization letters) upon request.
- Use only original or properly licensed content in listings.
- Comply with all applicable laws in sourcing, importing, and selling countries.
- Indemnify ShopGlobal against any IP claims arising from their listings.
Brand Partnership Opportunity
Instead of requesting removal of listings featuring your brand, we warmly invite brand owners and rights holders to partner with us. We are open to collaborating with authentic brands by offering authorized distribution of genuine products or establishing official partnership arrangements on ShopGlobal.

Reporting IP Infringements
If you believe any content or product on ShopGlobal infringes your intellectual property rights, please submit a written notice to support@shopglobal.sg.
Your notice should include:
For Trademarks:
- Trademark registration details (number, country, owner).
- Description of the alleged infringement with URLs/screenshots.
- Statement of how the trademark is being infringed.
- Your contact information and signature (electronic accepted) affirming authority.
For Copyrights:
- Description of the copyrighted work and the infringing material.
- URLs/screenshots of the infringing content.
- Good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, along with a perjury declaration.
We aim to review and act on valid complaints promptly (usually within 10 business days). Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
Counter-Notice Process
If your listing has been removed and you believe it was done in error, you may submit a counter-notice providing evidence of authorization or non-infringement.
We will restore the content where appropriate, in accordance with legal requirements.

- ShopGlobal acts as an intermediary platform and is not liable for user-generated content or third-party IP violations.
- This policy does not grant any rights or licenses to users or sellers.
- We reserve the right to update this policy at any time and to take additional protective measures.
- Compliance with this policy does not guarantee immunity from legal claims; sellers and users bear ultimate responsibility.
